GENERAL SUMMARY
The Operations Co Ordinator is responsible for warehouse operations, inventory, purchasing and vendor maintenance. It is the Operations Co Ordinator's responsibility to oversee all aspects of the warehouse include the store person functions including that both inward and outward good accuracy levels. Inventory responsibility includes ensuring stock levels are maintained, purchase orders are placed on suppliers where required and systems are updated accordingly. It is also expected that the Operations Co Ordinator will assist the store person when required.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to customer requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stocktake
- Operate Forklift
- Unloading and loading of delivery trucks
- Maintain a high level of accuracy
- Provide support to Customer Service team when required
- Updating delivery information - Data Entry
- Maintaining warehouse in a clean and orderly manner
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a requirement
- Forklift Licence and experience operating is mandatory
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
